Material: Spalted Beech

I was left with a much smaller log than I had originally
intended to use, due to finding barbed wire embedded in this lovely section of spalted beech.
I wanted to make the piece look like it was made from
rolled clay, as if building a coiled pot.
The final shape shows off the beauty of the timber, and has
produced a slightly "springy" sculpture, which wobbles when touched.
